Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you another fun Halloween card I created with some of the latest Tim Holtz/Sizzix products. I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products! I know it is Halloween weekend, but why not create some more Halloween cards and projects that you can have for next year? I find sometimes it is more inspiring to create in the season that you are creating for. So put on a scary movie, and have fun creating!

Ghost Town, Tim Holtz/Sizzix
I had a lot of fun creating this spooky little town with the new Ghost Town die set from Tim Holtz & Sizzix.
Everything on this card is done on Distress White Heavystock, except for the clouds which were cut out of vellum, and the card base is black cardstock. If you don’t know by now, I LOVE Distress White Heavystock, and it is fabulous for ink blending and other wet inky techniques.
I started by die-cutting a slimline stitched rectangle and creating a background by ink blending with Distress Ink in Black Soot, Wilted Violet, and Walnut Stain. Then over the Vintage Photo and Wilted Violet, I did some ink smooshing with a piece of acetate, so I could control where the inky droplets went.
Using the fence stamp from the Sketch Manor stamp set, I stamped the fence along the background, inking it up with Black Soot Archival, stamping it off on scrap paper, and then onto the background so it was a faint impression.
On some other Distress White Heavystock I did some ink smooshing with Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Vintage Photo. These are the pieces I used to diecut the Ghost Town dies from. Again, I cut the clouds out of vellum.
I then started to arrange the scene using Distress Collage Medium to adhere everything. The moon is popped up with some foam squares. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment “something wicked this way comes” from the Regions Beyond stamp set with Black Soot Archival Ink.
This spooky little scene reminds me of some of the scary movies I have been watching this fall! I love it!

Wow! What an amazing card! It’s like a little piece of Halloween art work! I would literally frame it. I love all the ways you used ink smooshing. And the little fence is my favorite part, so spooky. Thanks for sharing your talents. Happy Halloween!
Great card. I really have to start playing with my inks as per your card and the background, etc. Looks like fun. Thanks for sharing.
Oooh love this card!! Tim’s Halloween stuff is awesome. I’ll have to see if Tracie has the Ghost Town dies. Your inking is always inspiring and makes me want to dive into my distress inks and make backgrounds! Happy Halloween!
