Ok, let’s be honest.
November rolls around and we say to ourselves “man I should’ve started to make holiday cards A LOT sooner.
or
I have so many wicked cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.
I am going to guess that most of you who are reading this post fall into one if not both of those scenarios. So I was talking with my crafty friends Chari and Cheiron, and I mentioned it would be fun to challenge each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. I mean, that would give me 12 handmade holiday cards to send out this year and that would be way more then I sent out last year.
So each month on the third Thursday each of us girls is going to post our holiday creation and hopefully inspire you to create one too! We also have Libby joining us this month, so be sure to visit her for some holiday inspiration too!

We can do this! We can create holiday cards all year, and be a little bit more prepared for the holiday season!
Peas on Earth
I fell in love with this set, Peas on Earth, from Ink Blot Shop the second I saw it. Of course, I HAD to get it, but I haven’t had a chance to play with it until now.
I also love to create holiday cards with non-traditional colors. I tend to avoid the typical red and green. So for these cards, I had a lot of fun playing with rainbow colors, and blending with Copic Markers.
I colored both card fronts at the same time to help it go faster. Then I stamped a few of the hats, colored them, added some white gel pen details, a little glitter, and fussy cut them out.
Both of these cards are simple, and mostly one layer cards but I think with the bright color and little details of glitter and white gel pen, they pack a lot of punch 🙂
Ok, time for you to go visit Cheiron, Chari, and Libby to see what they created THEN your turn to make a holiday card! I can’t wait to see what you make 🙂

Hi Jenn. LOVE your cards! This stamp set is absolutely adorable. I just ordered one for myself. Thanks for inspiring me to “get crackin'”. I do not want to spend November losing my mind making cards.
