Ok, let’s be honest.
November rolls around and we say to ourselves “man I should’ve started making holiday cards A LOT sooner.”
or
“I have so many wicked cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.”
I am going to guess that most of you who are reading this post fall into one if not both of those scenarios. So last year I was talking with my crafty friends and I mentioned it would be fun to challenge each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. I mean, that would give me 12 handmade holiday cards to send out this year and that would be way more then I sent out last year.
So each month on the third Thursday I am going to post a holiday creation and hopefully inspire you to create one too! I lost track of my Thursdays this month, so I am a week late. OOPS!

We can do this! We can create holiday cards all year, and be a little bit more prepared for the holiday season!

Get Cracking: Merry Snowmen
For this card, I am playing with some Mama Elephant sets that I haven’t used yet. Little Snowman Agenda and Color Me Letters
I chose the snowmen that reminded me of summer, not because I am making the card in the summer, but because I think that’s what people would want to see come December! These guys are so cute, and there are a ton more to choose from in the set. I stamped out the word “MERRY” right on the card base and colored the letters into a gradient with Copic markers.
I arranged the snowman, some of them flat on the card and some popped up with 3M Foam tape. Then I put a generous amount of Lawn Fawn Glue Tube along the “ground” and sprinkled Chunky Glitter. Another quick and easy card, but I am still happy with the results!
Your turn to make a holiday card! It’s fun when there is less pressure 😉
