Ok, let’s be honest.
November rolls around and we say to ourselves “man I should’ve started making holiday cards A LOT sooner.”
or
“I have so many wicked cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.”
I am going to guess that most of you who are reading this post fall into one if not both of those scenarios. So last year I was talking with my crafty friends and I mentioned it would be fun to challenge each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. I mean, that would give me 12 handmade holiday cards to send out this year and that would be way more then I sent out last year.
So each month on the third Thursday a few of us girls are going to post our holiday creations and hopefully inspire you to create one too! If you do end up making any please leave a comment below with a link, or tag me on instagram so I can see! We are also going to use the hashtag #getcrackingonchristmas
We can do this! We can create holiday cards all year, and be a little bit more prepared for the holiday season!

Get Cracking: Hug Blizzards, Concord & 9th
For this card I am playing with some Concord & 9th goodies I got before the holidays but hadn’t given any love to yet. I just love this girl all bundled up. I even added some teal to her hair like mine 😉
For the background, I ink blended after cutting out the “blizzard” using the swirls die. I used Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon for the ink blending.
I used Copic markers to color in the girl, love the soft rainbow colors of the scarf. For the sentiment, I stamped with Versafine on a strip of vellum. Lastly, I used a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to the pom pom of the hat to add some chunky glitter!
Ok, time for you to go visit Chari, Cheiron, Libby, and Caryn to see what they created THEN your turn to make a holiday card! I can’t wait to see what you make 🙂

What a great idea to make Christmas cards all year! I love the colors you used and the stamp set is super cute!
Gorgeous blending, bright happy colours to cheer up that cold winter weather. My wanted both these sets, the stamps & swirls , when they released but never got round to buying them. You’ve shown them so beautifully it inspires me all over again.
Gorgeous colors, sweet image and fun sentiment. This card is the whole package!! 🙂
