Have you heard of my Get Cracking on Christmas Series? Well, this year is going to bigger and better and more inspiring than ever! So here are the details:
Let’s be honest.
November rolls around and we say to ourselves “man I should’ve started making holiday cards A LOT sooner.”
or
“I have so many wicked cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.”
I am going to guess that most of you who are reading this post fall into one if not both of those scenarios. So for the past 2 years, some of my crafty friends and I have been challenging each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. I mean, that would give me 12 handmade holiday cards to send out at the end of the year and that’s better than none.
This year I am excited to have MORE crafty friends participating with me AND I will be offering a GIVEAWAY each month to you guys!
On the third Thursday, we are going to post a holiday creation and hopefully inspire you to create one too!
If you do end up making any please leave a comment below with a link, or tag me on instagram so I can see! We are also going to use the hashtag #getcrackingonchristmas. This is how I will choose the winner, more about that at the end of this post.
We can do this! We can create holiday cards all year, and be a little bit more prepared for the holiday season!

Get Cracking: Holiday Seals Card Set
I used the Stamping Village Holiday Seal stamp set to create this set of cards. I figured, new year, time to replenish my holiday card stash. These cards were quick and easy to put together – which I love.
I stamped the images, colored them in with copics, die cut them with stitched circles. Then using some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Cardstock I diecut scalloped circles to back them with. Using a variety of Lawn Fawn holiday papers for card bases, and then I was done!
ok, before I explain the giveaway I want to be sure to have you go visit my crafty friends for more inspiration. I am so excited that they are joining me this year to bring you more inspiration and to remind you to work on those holiday cards all year long!

I love this. I had no motivation this past year to make my Christmas cards. We can do this!
Love this idea!
This year was the worst! The Christmas Card Elves never showed up! Hopefully this will get me motivated before Nov 1!
I so need this!!!
I am so doing this 😊 I’ve just bought Christmas sets so this is a great reason to use them. 💕
What a fun idea!
Awesome! I’m gonna try to join each month! Great goal for the year! Thanks
I did this last year, minus the hashtag. I am looking forward to olaying along.
Yay!!! I remembered you talking about this, then forgot what day it was. In the calendar and it’s ON, girlfriend!!! At least 1 card a month!!
Am loving those holiday seals and the quick cards they make. Good thing for people in the office.
I’m really interested in joining in as I always get behind with my Christmas cards. Thank you for organising this, a really great idea.
Awesome set of cards!
I am really loving this idea! Every year I get caught in the crunch to get some cards done in December! I am well known for being a procrastinator. And I have holiday stamps I have not inked up yet…. so this is a perfect challenge for me!
Great idea, hopefully I’ll follow through, 🎄
So cute! I need to use these stamps.
Do we have to have Instagram?
No, you can share anywhere online, I’d say – blog, Pinterest, Flickr, you name it – and then post a link to your project here in the comments. If you do have instagram, you can also then use the hashtag – at least that’s my understanding. Hope it helps?
What a great idea! I’ll get cracking on Christmas tomorrow (I need no excuse!)
Love these gorgeous cards!
I love making holiday cards.

Adorable cards, cute stamps and LUV the background papers. Great idea, too.
Do we leave the comments on this specific post when we have a card done:
Funny, I was just thinking this morning, as a joke: well, time to start making my Christmas cards for next year……
I would love to participate, but don’t know how to post a link–I don’t even know where the link is supposed to go to . So I will just enjoy other people’s cards 🙂
great idea. i love the deer! could you tell me what glue you use for the sparkle paper? i find it hard to adhere to!
I sadly fall in both categories so this challenge is an awesome idea to get me moving. Looking forward to being inspired!
