Hi everyone! Purple Onion Stamps recently had a new release of some Julian Charlton images, and they are so fun! I created this birthday card for my friend Dawn, it is her birthday today (the day after mine).
I started by ink blending a background with regular Distress Inks and blending brushes. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves.
Then on another sheet of cardstock, I stamped this adorable image. I colored in with Copic Markers. I also traced the main images with a BG10 Copic marker. I like to do this especially when I stamp images on the background- to kind of pull it all together.
Lastly, I used some stardust Ranger Stickles here and there for an accent.
Dawn hopefully already got this in the mail 😉 since it is her birthday today and this is going to take the surprise away ha!
so fun card!
This card is so cute. The images are darling. I love them.
Such a cute card! I love me some Purple Onion!
I really like how you used the BG10 around the images. I’m going to give that a try.
Such a cute card! I bet she loved it! Happy birthday {saturday} to you! Hope you had a nice day!
Very cute, very well done. Great stamp set.
Oh my gosh, that is so cute!
Super cute. Jenn. What Copic colors did you use in the elephant?
This is just adorable! Love the artwork of these stamps, and the way you use them and your coloring is perfect!
