I’m still holding onto summer. I know this is crazy, fall is here, but I figure if I keep posting summer cards on my blog this can be my little getaway from the cool crisp air. I made this card for a friend over the summer. I love, love Fred Mullet’s stamps (that is the fish you see here). And Impression Obsession has awesome nautical stamps as well (the sand dollar). The “Damaged by Salt Water” sentiment is wicked old, and from Limited Edition who are no longer in business. Sinamay is always a must on a nautical card, and I love this Hero Arts Magical background stamp.
I used rock candy distress stickles all over the sand dollar and then added multiple layers of glossy accents to the fishes eye. Hope the detail photo shows this

Girl, I’m not giving up on Summer, either! It’s been SOOOO gorgeous in New England all month! We’re still heading to the beach when the kiddies get off the bus! **Very cute with the netting over the washi tape. Great texture 🙂
