I have been friends with Adrienne and Amy, 2 of the owners of Colorado Craft Company for a LONG time. We won’t mention how long because I don’t want to give away how old any of us are 😉 I love the fun stamps they have been coming out with, and the Anita Jeram collection certainly does not disappoint! I have SIX fun cards to share with you, let’s get started!
Pampered Birthday
Get ready for a lot of kitties on these cards. You know when I can, I represent my boys, Mister Harley, Gus and Jac. Here is Mister Harley, being pampered on his birthday which happens to be Monday, he will be 13.
I started by stamping and coloring the images from the new Anita Jeram For Mom set with Copic markers, then die cut them out. For the background, I stenciled some hearts using Newton’s Nook Tumbling Hearts along with Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers and Guava Ink Pads. I die cut out the panel using Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle die, and matted it on some Mermaid Cardstock.
Lastly, I popped up the images with foam dots. Super cute!
Happy Birthday Dad
This set was just too cute not to use, and I love that it was kitties and Dad-themed. I started by stamping the main image from Dad’s Cooking on a piece of Distress White Heavystock cardstock. I also stamped just one of the little kitties, on another piece of cardstock and the food that Dad will be cooking. I proceeded to color the kitties to match mine. (Note, Gus has little white hairs on his chest and in his ears).
Then using the coordinating die for the set I die cut the shape out of masking paper, sticking it on the panel covering the colored in image. I then ink blended the background using Distress Oxides (Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire). Peeling back the mask to reveal a nice white border around the colored in image.
Next, I die cut the extra kitty and the food that Dad will be tossing from his frying pan. I added these to my card with a glue tube.
I then heat set the card to get some of the moisture out of the background from the ink blending so I could stamp and white emboss the sentiment with Brutus Monroe alabaster-white embossing powder. This is my first time using this embossing powder and it is FABULOUS!
By the way, no one tell my boyfriend Chris that I colored the Dad cat, with Mister Harley markings. I will tuck this card aside and give it to him for his birthday in July.
Hooray
Look at the party these guys are having!! And as you can see Mister Harley snuck into the fun.
For this card, I started by ink smooshing a background with regular Distress Ink (Kitsch Flamingo, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet). I also die cut one set of letters for HOORAY out of Lawn Fawn’s Oliver’s ABCs and ink blended them with the same distress ink colors and a second set out of black cardstock.
I then stamped, colored in with Copic markers the main image from the Proud of You stamp set. I then die cut it out. I stamped the tiny “hooray” and die cut it out. I die cut just the shape out of black cardstock as well.
I off-set the letters and the tiny “hooray” with black cardstock to make it stand out against the inky background. I then used a quickie glue pen and covered the large letters with Prisma glitter for some sparkle. I used foam dots to add the letters, animals, and small sentiment to the card. I then matted it with some black cardstock.
Watercolor Wishes
This sweet little Make a Wish Mini stamp set made a really cute card set. You might wonder why I am not linking to it so you can add it to your cart- well, shhh…. don’t tell, but if you order $100 worth of product with Colorado Craft Company they add one of these sets in your order for FREE!
I started by die cutting 3 stitched rectangles out of Distress Watercolor cardstock. I then stamped the image of the mouse getting ready to blow a wish. I then watercolored it with Distress inks (Tea Dye, Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass, and Milled Lavender).
I then put the panels back into the Misti to stamp a different sentiment on each. Each of them is included in the mini stamp set. Lastly, I matted each of these panels on Sticky Note Lawn Fawn cardstock. I love how simple these are, super cute!
These stamps were so fun to play with! The illustrations are just darling. Here are a few other sets I didn’t get a chance to play with yet. Jennabler alert: You can click on any of the images to shop! And a full supply list of my cards is at the end of my post.

Oh My Gosh! This whole Colorado Craft Company release is so uplifting, and what do we need more than anything right now…but the Love Art set really captures the feeling of fellowship and community we share as artists and papercrafters, so if I have to choose, this one is my fave. (I’ll be getting all of them, though). Love your color choices with this whimsical collection – is that a smooshed background technique I see?

Definitely loved all of your cards, but my favorite set , and my favorite of your cards, is So Proud of You. You do a fabulous job coloring the critters so realistically and the rest of the card is so exciting with the bright colors. Love it!
