Christmas Cheer, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I started by stamping some images from the Christmas Cheer 6×8 stamp set included in the kit. I stamped them with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf inkpad, this ink is alcohol marker friendly and I like the warm, vintage tone it gives the card. I colored them in with Copic markers which are alcohol-based markers (sharing below the specific markers I used).

I then fussy cut the images out. The die set isn’t included in the kit, but you can purchase it separately.

I then chose several patterned papers from the kit, I collaged some onto a background, and then gold embossed “ho ho ho” which was included in the Christmas Cheer stamp set. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool

I then added some sparkle with a Quickie Glue Pen, and Prisma Glitter. I wrapped some of the twine included in the kit around the card and tied it into a bow, attaching the Tim Holtz Idea-ology “sweets” tag as well. I then used Distress Collage Medium and put some Distress Mica Flakes along the ground.
