Blow Bubbles, Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing a fun Lawn Fawn card with you today! Before I get to the details I wanted to let you know that I just announced the details of my latest Lawn Fawn card class- Mermazing

Mermazing will be held LIVE May 15th, but as with all of my online classes, you can take the class whenever convenient for you. Mermazing is an opportunity to create 3 unique reveal wheel interactive cards from start to finish with Jenn! Jenn will have dedicated time to go over Copic coloring of all the images and Distress Ink techniques LIVE as well as tips and tricks when putting together reveal wheel interactive cards. Then there will be dedicated time to assembling the 3 cards. As in Jenn’s in-person classes, this is when she will share tips, tricks, and processes with you. More details and you can sign up here!

Blow Bubbles, Lawn Fawn

I have been dreaming about this card design since I saw the Bubbles of Joy stamp set. I love bubble gum, I love blowing bubbles, and sometimes in my studio alone I even snap my gum (shhh…)

Combining Bubbles of Joy with Sweet Smiles made this fun bubblegum card.

The little mouse blowing bubbles, I had him blow bubblegum instead. The mouse that could be draped on the big bubble fit perfectly on top of the bubblegum machine.

For the sentiment, I combined words from Bubbles of Joy along with Louie’s ABCs. I ink blended Louie’s letters with Ballet Slippers and Bubblegum Lawn Fawn ink. I wanted the letters to be more vibrant, so I went over some of the ink blending with Copic markers

For the background, I used the Foursquare Backdrop and cut the center divider lines out. I also used the Itsy Bitsy Polka which I also ink blended with Bubblegum Lawn Fawn ink.

Once I put the card together I added a generous layer of glossy accents to the glass of the bubblegum machine.
