Alright, now to the card I have to share with you, it’s all about the weather!

Be a Rainbow, Lawn Fawnatics

I was having so much fun preparing for my next online class, Distress Ink Techniques for Cardmakers, I couldn’t stop playing with my Distress Inks. I started by ink smooshing the background with regular Hickory Smoke Distress Ink on Distress White Heavystock. I then cut out a few clouds and ink blended their edges with the same Distress ink.

I then ink blended a rainbow ombre on a strip of Distress White Heavystock using regular Distress Ink: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet.  I then used Finley’s ABCs and cut out the word “Rainbow” – I just LOVE how this came out. Then I used Smitty’s ABCs to stamp the rest of the quote.

This card came together fairly quickly, and I just LOVE how it turned out! Hope you join us in this challenge.

Edited to add: I see now I forgot the word “of”,  sigh. Everyone makes mistakes and I guess this is just proof of that!
