Frightful, Tim Holtz/Ranger

This seasonal release of products is limited edition, meaning once they are gone, they are gone. SO if I have inspired you or jennabled you to want any of them get them SOON!

Man, oh man did I have fun digging out all kinds of Tim Holtz goodies I have been hoarding saving for a project just like this!

I used a little bit of everything from the new release, and I will point that out throughout the post with the detailed shots I have taken.

The new Distress Texture Set has Grave Texture Paste and Crypt Grit Paste, and I used both of them on the Tombstone and Coffin Vignette Tray.

Above you can see the texture paste mixed with a little bit of Hickory Smoke Distress reinker on the tombstone and the grit past as is on the side of the coffin.

For the background, behind the coffin, I created a fun inky background with the new Distress Mica Sprays, Hocus Pocus. These come in wicked fun, unique seasonal colors.

I then stamped a background stamp with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink, along with some bats and a spider from some other sets in Black Soot Archival ink.

Along the bottom of the tombstone and coffin, I spread some more of the texture paste and stuck into it with some collage medium, bottles, mushrooms, a skull, bones, a pumpkin, and a corked dome with a fun vintage picture of kids holding jack-o-lanterns.  I then sprinkled some of the new mica, while the paste was wet.

I stamped out some of the fun Halloween images from the Tim Holtz Monstrous Set onto Distress Watercolor cardstock, and then watercolored the images with Distress Ink

Using a quickie glue pen I added some of the nightfall glitter to the Dracula, and using Distress collage medium I added rock candy glitter to the bones, the eyes, and the stitches in the Frankenstein
