Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous: NEW stamps & stencils!

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you a card I created with the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous release.  I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!!! Tim Holtz will be LIVE on his YouTube channel April 13th at 12p ET sharing even more inspiration! I was having so much fun with this release I have a bunch of cards I will share with you over the next couple weeks! Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous: Watercoloring with Stencils

For this card, I used the new Wheel Layering Stencil and traced bits of the openings with different Distress Watercolor Pencils onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then used a wet paintbrush to move and spread the pigment around filling in the rest of the space. I then stamped one of the pointing fingers from the new Curiosity Shop stamp set directly onto the background with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Did you know? That Simon Says Stamp is offering coordinating dies for some of Tim Holtz’s stamp sets? This stamp set is one of them!

I stamped a few number sets from the Eccentric stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black onto the color wheel. I then white embossed a sentiment onto black cardstock and trimmed it out. Of course, whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I stamp the image several times over using a Misti and Lawn Fawn Yeti Pigment Ink, then sprinkle the Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder.

I then did a little “pigment-smooshing” with Distress Watercolor pencils, and acetate onto another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, for a background layer on the card. I also added a few flat sequins for a little sparkle. I really love how this card came out and I can’t wait to share with you the other cards I created with this release!
