I am wicked excited to be celebrating with Danielle and Neat & Tangled on their 5th Birthday celebration blog hop!!
I had guest designed for Neat & Tangled back in 2014 and since then have had the pleasure of becoming IRL (in real life) friends with Danielle, we are even known to spoon on occasion! She and I both have an equal love for the ocean and all things beachy :). Someday we will be able to have our toes in the sand together!
I had a wicked fun time creating this birthday card for this celebration! I used the new Wild Ones stamp & die set along with the new Balloon Duo stencil and Like Magic sequins!
I started by stenciling the balloons in the background using Neat & Tangled’s new Balloon Duo Stencils. I used an ink blending tool and Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks.
Next, I stamped and die cut the new Wild Ones images. I scored a pretty awesome deal for the FULL set of Prismacolor Colored Pencils during Amazon Prime Day, so I figured this was the perfect time to play with them!
Lastly, I added some ultra fine glitter here and there for some sparkle, I also used a white gel pen to add in some details.
Once I had the card assembled I finished it off with some Like Magic sequins.

I love that balloon stencil because it makes placement and laying the balloons easy. I love the hooray die there is so much you can do with it. I think that die should be in everyone’s top ten word dies.

I love, love, love, love and did I say I love your card? LOL When I win I want this stamp set because it’s just 2 cute for words! I want to do the turtle with different colors of green the first time I make a card and the second time I want to make the turtle all different colors and even use some glitter! He will be the first colorful, sparkly, turtle in the world! Then I will do the same with the giraffe so he will be the second most colorful and sparkly animal in the world. I am all about color and sparkles. Wouldn’t it be cool if both of them were sparkly and colorful in real life? They will be in my world!
