Happy Looks Good On You, Watercolor Background with Distress Oxide
I had a ton of fun on this background! I embossed a few of the Ranunculus and then just went to town with regular Distress Ink and Distress Oxide and water. Heat setting in between layers. I used Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Wild Honey.
I explored the Distress Oxide pads on Facebook LIVE the other night, you can still watch it here Be sure to like my facebook page and choose to “follow” it so you will know when I am LIVE again. I plan on doing more of these when I can!
For the front flowers I added in some Festive Berries to make them brighter. For the leaves that was a mix of Crashed Olive and Mowed Lawn. I added some vellum cut out with the cross-stitched rectangle and then to hold that down I used some Tim Holtz Fluted Fasteners.
