Hello everyone! It is starting to get chilly here on Cape Cod, and although I am not ready for snow, I know it will be coming soon- so how about a Snowball Fight? Sharing a fun card with the new Lawn Fawn set. There is also an online class that I am offering on December 10th– or you can take it at your own pace anytime after that.

Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Happy Winter, Lawn Fawn
I started by stamping out and coloring a bunch of the images from Snowball Fight. I then die-cut them out and added some sparkle with a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Glitter.
I then ink-blended some Polar patterned paper from Lawn Fawn with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. This is a white paper with silver foiling, perfect if you haven’t started hot foiling yet.
Whenever I ink blend I use the Ink Stands, and the Square Ink Stands that I carry in my online shop are perfect for Distress inks. They hold the ink pad in place, and also help you so you don’t get inky fingers.
I also love Simon Says Stamps Blender Brushes. I have used some other brands, and I find that these are softer, and I like the large ones are nice and big and cover a good amount of surface at once.
I store them in the Layer Cake Brush Caddie, that I carry here in my {creative chick} studio shop. I put the caddie on a lazy susan, using wall putty to hold it on, this way it is easy to spin to the brush I want, and it doesn’t take up much space on my studio table.
I arranged the scene all around the Stitched Hillside Landscape Backdrop– this is a great die to create scenes all year round depnding on what color you cut it from. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment “Happy Winter” with Lawn Fawn Peacock Ink.
TIP: you can use the search feature, and type in the name of any Lawn Fawn product, and you will see any inspiration I have shared with that item.

Do you prefer distress inks over oxides for blending? I am just debating getting sets of both. Thanks!
I talk about this in a lot of my LIVEs and online classes. The short answer is I love ALL distress, but I use regular Distress the most. I talk a little bit about it here https://youtu.be/OKvWy_SzsEY?t=3932
Hi Jenn,
I am LOVING your fun card! This scene makes me want to join in their fun. I can make this card. My grandkids will love it! ♥️🤩⛄️🤩♥️
