Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous, The Scarecrow

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you another card I created with the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous release.  I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!!! I will share more details about each of these cards throughout the next few weeks, but I wanted to be sure to let you know his new stamps and stencils are available now!

Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous, The Scarecrow

I stamped the scarecrow from the new Scarecrow stamp set, with Jet Black Lawn Fawn Ink, onto white 80# Neenah. I then colored him in with Copic markers, and fussy cut him out and set him aside.

For the background, I used a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock, I stamped the moon image with Fossilized Amber, and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink. Using a wet paintbrush, I pulled the color/ink from the stamped image into the center of the moon. I then covered the moon with a mask and proceeded to ink blend the background with Pumice Stone, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.

I then stamped the scarecrow, some corn stalks, and the bats with Black Soot Archival Ink. I added the scarecrow to the card with black foam strips and squares.

For the sentiment, I white embossed it with  Yeti Lawn Fawn pigment ink, and Alabaster White Brutus Monroe White Embossing Powder.

Note: whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.

I cut the sentiment into word strips and added them to the card with black foam strips. I splattered some Decayed Distress Mica Stain onto the background.

I matted the whole card onto black cardstock.
