i've been playing with some challenges lately…. its fun to use a card challenge as a stepping stone into card creating. It's a great way to get an idea to get started, if you're in a creative rut
this is a color combo challenge that is posted over on the a muse lounge there is new challenges posted every month.. and you even have a chance to win a prize!! can't beat that!! i chose to create a card using the color combo orange crush, papaya, and sky blue
connie, who is an a muse fan and has been in some of my classes before is collectiong cards for her dad's 80th birthday… what a fun idea 😉 she mentioned he liked john deere…. so i put together this card!
kim howard is on the stampotique DT and she left me a comment the other day about some fun challenges they are doing over on their blog… so i created this "love" themed card for that 🙂 i used watercolor crayons, and added glossy accents over the "xoxo" and the hearts on their shirts. all stamps are stamptoique, except the BIG heart which is by christine adolph
and last but not least.. this is a challenge to stay tuned to 🙂 kimberly visits us often at colorful creations, and little did she know she was going to become a cardmaker 🙂 she has been scrapbooking forever. she purchased this stamp at the store because it is sooo fun.. but she has been struggling with what to do with it… so i told her i would take it home and see what i could come up with 🙂 …. so stay tuned!
Awesome cards Jenn!! I love each one! Thanks so much for playing along with the challenge! 🙂
I love ’em all! It’s hard to choose which I like best! Love the grass and the tractor card and the A Muse Challenge card with the Lacey scallop..and love the funk with the Stamptoique card…
These cards show your diverse creativity/talent. From cute to quirky. I am quite amused with the quirky card. 😉
Fun cards! LOVE the tractor and the gingham sun!
As usual, the cards are great!
I love the Easter card & that color combination.
Thanks for joining us at Stampotique, I love your card-the little guy standing on top of the heart…super cute!!!
Looks like you were having fun – great job. I have challenges on my blog on Mondays *wink* although I haven’t posted yet today. Your tractor card would fit perfectly for last week’s challenge.
Thanks for sharing. Always love to see what you are creating.
Fun cards, Shurkus!!!
