STAMPtember: You Make Halloween Sweeter

STAMPtember: You Got This

Simon Says Stamp sent me the new Tricky Treats stamp set, and I had so much fun playing with it – I hope you find my card inspiring!

I started by stamping and masking the images onto Distress White Heavystock. While the images were masked, I ink-blended the background with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, and Black Soot, then added some splatters with the violet from the Gansai Tambi Opal palette.

I gently peeled off the masks – so satisfying! – then colored in the images with Copic markers (I’ll share the specific colors below). I added black details with a 03 Micron pen and cheek freckles with an extra-fine white Posca pen. I die-cut the panel with the largest Postage Rectangle Stackables from Lawn Fawn and matted it onto Orange Sparkle Cardstock.

Next, I die-cut the Lawn Fawn Sequin Mix from Orange, Black, and Purple Sparkle Cardstock, then sprinkled circles and stars onto the background using a Glue Tube and a Pick Up Pokey Tool.

I used a Lawn Fawn Yeti pigment ink pad and Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Powder to emboss the sentiment onto black cardstock. (Whenever I do any embossing, I prep the surface first using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.)

Lastly, I added sparkle here and there with Star Dust Stickles and a touch of dimensional shine with Glossy Accents. The full supply list is at the end of this post if you’d like to recreate the look!
