Shell-o Friend, Pink and Main

Hey crafty friends! I’m excited to share a card I created with the brand-June Pink & Main release. I am delayed in sharing due to an unexpected surgery I had in June. – I hope this design sparks a little inspiration for your own creations.

Shell-o Friend, Pink and Main

You know I love me my flip flops! And this stencil is just so cute, paired with the Pink & Main Paradise Found Postage Stamp set, it’s a perfect match!

I started by ink blending the background with a soft dusting of Sunflower Lawn Fawn ink onto Distress White Heavystock. Then I laid the flip-flop stencil over that and ink blended with Bubblegum, Carrot, and Sunflower Lawn Fawn ink pads, letting the color fade off toward the top for that ombré effect.

I colored in a few images from the Paradise Found set with Copic markers, colors are swatched below. Then I die-cut them out. I love that one die set works for all of Pink & Main’s postage stamp sets, such a versatile addition to the stash!

Of course, I added a touch of sparkle to the images with a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Glitter, because everything’s better with a little sparkle.

I finished it off by white embossing a sentiment from the Ride Any Wave stamp set onto black cardstock. I always prep my cardstock first with the Rabbit Hole Designs Cotton Tail Powder Tool for the smoothest embossing results.
