Holding Onto Summer, Pink & Main

Hey crafty friends! It might be the first day of fall according to the calendar, but this creative chick/mermaid is still holding onto summer. I wanted to share a few summer/ocean themed cards I created with some fun Pink & Main products

Seas the Day, Pink & Main

There’s a whole ocean tucked inside this card. A cut-out frame opens up into deep blues and purple water, with fun little jellyfish drifting past swaying seaweed, tumbled rocks, and a little family of orange starfish. The soft ink blending gives the background real depth, while sprinkles of white and sparkle make it look like light catching bubbles underwater. The sentiment says it all: “Seas the day!”, a cheerful nudge to make the most of whatever’s in front of you, sunny skies or not.

Any Wave, Pink & Main

Summer isn’t over yet, not on this desk. This card is a little act of resistance against sweater weather, a rainbow-washed underwater scene starring ocean critters, all riding gentle glittery waves. The background is blended soft and sunny, like the last good beach day, and every critter is colored in candy-bright markers with just enough sparkle. The sentiment says it best: “I’ll ride any wave with you”, heat-embossed bold in white on black, a little promise to keep chasing warm days (and good company) even as the season turns.
