Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple cards I created with Simon Says Stamp’s March Card Kit, Watercolor Bouquet. This kit was packed with goodness: an awesome stamp set, inks, embellishments, and so much more. It’s truly a perfect kit for all kinds of creators!
It’s best to subscribe so you get the first chance to have a kit as they often sell out. Plus, you will get all the perks outlined above!

Thank You, Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit
Did you get your March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit yet? Even though the kit has sold out, many of the individual elements are still available, and I’ve linked everything I used at the end of this post so you can recreate a similar look.
For this card, I wanted that soft, dreamy watercolor style, but I thought I would share an easy way to achieve it if traditional watercoloring feels a little intimidating.
Using the solid images from the Watercolor Bouquet stamp set, I inked them up with Distress Oxide inks and then misted the stamps with my Distress Sprayer. I even let a few extra water droplets drip onto the stamp before pressing it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock.
The magic really happens as it dries! I let the images dry naturally, and as the ink and water settle and pool together, they create this beautiful organic watercolor effect without needing to do any brush painting.
For the background, I used the splatter stamp included in the set with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide. Just like with the flowers, I added a little water before stamping. This gives the background a fabulous, loose texture that complements the watercolor look perfectly.
I love that there are coordinating dies available for this set. I die-cut all of the images and arranged them to create my own little bouquet layered behind the paper doily.
For the sentiment, I used the new Basic Brushstroke Greetings set. I can already tell this is going to be one of those sets I reach for again and again, the style is so versatile and works beautifully with so many card designs.
To finish things off, I added a touch of Distress Rock Candy Clear Glitter here and there on the flowers and greenery. You know I can’t resist adding a little sparkle!
Even though the full card kit has sold out, I love that Simon Says Stamp makes many of the elements available separately so you can still create with them. I’ve linked everything I used below to make it easy to find.
Now I’m curious: do you enjoy watercoloring on your cards, or do you prefer techniques like this that give you that watercolor look with stamping? Let me know in the comments! And if you give this technique a try, I’d love to see what you create. ✨

I can’t wait to keep creating with this kit, there are just so many possibilities!
