Now let’s dive into the cards- can’t wait to show you what I made!
Kitty Greetings, Pink & Main

For these cards, I started by stamping and coloring the new January Cat stamp from Pink & Main. This stamp set is free with a $60 purchase or you can purchase it. I had so much fun coloring up a few different kitty looks, it’s always a treat to give each image its own personality! I used Copic markers for all of the coloring, and I’ve listed the specific markers I used below in case you’d like to recreate these sweet feline friends.
To create the backgrounds, I did a bit of pigment smooshing using Distress Watercolor Pencils. This is one of my favorite ways to quickly build soft, playful layers of color while still keeping things loose and organic. Each background ended up a little different, which I love, it adds so much character to a set of cards.
Next, I die cut the small paw print from a circle of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I also die cut the back layer for the sentiments from the same cardstock. Both the paw prints and sentiment backers were watercolor-painted using Distress Watercolor Pencils, blending together a mix of purple shades for lots of depth and variation.
The sentiments were die cut from black cardstock, which really helps them pop against the colorful layers. Once everything was ready, I assembled the cards using foam squares to add dimension and bring all the elements together.
As a finishing touch, I added a little sparkle to the butterflies with a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma glitter—just enough shine to catch the light without overpowering the design.
These cards came together quickly and were such a joy to make. I love how the playful cats, soft watercolor backgrounds, and bold sentiment details all work together. Be sure to check out the full supply list and close-up photos below for more details!
