Hey friends! Simon Says Stamp has come out with some more coordinating dies to work with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp sets, this time with a holiday theme! I used some of the fabulous coordinating dies to create these cards.⁠

This card is a perfect example of how much impact you can get from a simple design and a beautiful color blend. I used the Tattered Christmas stamp set to create a clean, graphic holiday card that still has lots of texture and dimension.

I stamped the Santa hats using an ombre blend of Distress Oxide Inks, keeping the color palette soft but festive. One of my favorite things about this set is having the coordinating dies, not only do they make cutting out the hats quick and easy, but I love that the sentiment has a die too, giving everything a clean, finished look.

To add some extra sparkle and dimension, I used Glossy Accents along with Distress Rock Candy Clear on the trim of the hats and the pom poms. Using Glossy Accents as the adhesive really helps the Rock Candy sit up on the surface, adding that chunky, snowy texture I can never resist.

For the background, I kept things simple but not boring. I splattered a bit of Black Soot Distress Paint for subtle contrast and interest. The panel was die-cut using Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle, then adhered to a card base where I ink blended an ombre background using the same Distress Oxide inks. This ties everything together and adds another layer of color without overwhelming the design.

I love how this card came together; clean, festive, and full of little details that make it special. It’s a great reminder that you don’t need a complicated layout to create something impactful… sometimes a few favorite supplies and a bit of sparkle are all you need. ✨🎄
