Hey crafty friends! 👋 I’m popping in to share a card I made using some of my favorite Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous.
Fun fact: Stampers Anonymous doesn’t retire their Tim Holtz designs—so there’s a huge library of awesome stamps and stencils you might not have seen in a while (or totally forgot you had 😉).
Hope this project sparks some inspiration to dig into your stash and get creative! ✨

Halloween Whatnots, Tim Holtz

For this card set, I started by black embossing the Halloween Whatnots onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. To get a crisp impression, I prepped the surface with the Cottontail powder tool, then stamped the images multiple times with Versafine Onyx Black using a stamping platform. Working quickly, I sprinkled on ultrafine clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool.
Next came the fun part, adding color and texture! I sprayed on layers of Distress Spritz and used the Distress Sprayer with water to create those wonderful, organic droplet effects. Once the backgrounds were dry, I matted each panel with Gold Sparkle cardstock for a festive shimmer.
For extra character, I brought in a few images from the Scared Silly stamp set. I watercolored them on Distress Watercolor Cardstock, then fussy cut them to use as embellishments across the card set.
To finish everything off, I added some sparkle and shine: a touch of Distress Rock Candy on each card, and on the eyeball jar, a coating of Glossy Accents for that perfect glossy, glassy look.
These little spooky details made the whole set come to life, and I hope they inspire you to add your own playful twists to your Halloween crafting! 🎃🖤
