Did you hear? Distress Oxide Minis Are Here!
Ranger Ink just released something we’ve all been waiting for, Distress Oxide Mini Ink Pads! This has been a long-time wish for many crafters, and the brilliant minds (aka the chemists!) at Ranger finally cracked the code to make the Distress Oxide formula work in a mini size, YAY!
Order them from Simon Says Stamp
These little guys are perfect if you’re short on space or love to craft on the go. Personally, I find mini ink pads especially helpful for certain techniques where more precision is key, it’s super easy to apply color exactly where you want it.
What makes Distress Oxides special?
They’re a unique fusion of dye and pigment ink, which gives them a more opaque quality and allows for some seriously cool effects and techniques thanks to their oxidizing properties.
Want to dive deeper into how Distress Oxides compare to regular Distress Inks? I break it all down in my online class: Distress Ink Techniques for Cardmakers: Inks & Oxides. Learn how to get the most out of each formula, and how different techniques produce totally different results!
My online classes are open worldwide and can be taken at your own convenience, anytime that works for you.
This particular class includes:
📝 A 29-page handout packed with detailed instructions and technique step-outs
✨ An additional 16-page inspiration guide to spark your creativity
🎥 Over 7 hours of video tutorials to guide you through every step
Perfect whether you’re just getting started or want to expand your inky skills!
One thing I love about mini ink pads, is it is fun and easy to add multiple colors to a background stamp as I did here. 2 of the cards I used Distress Grit Paste, and the other I added a touch of Glossy Accents here and there.
