November 8: today i am thankful for being able to teach my papercrafting classes. I have been lucky over the past 10+ years where i have been able to teach a zillion classes to a zillion wicked fun people. I have been able to travel to many different states, even newfoundland. I have been welcomed into many different stores where owners and staff always have made me feel welcome. I am one lucky girl. It is my classes that drive my creativity and push me to learn and experiment more.
Throughout the past 10+ years 2 places have distinctively been my home away from home:
Colorful Creations: Obviously this was my home. Since i was there up to 6 days a week managing the store and then teaching as many as 3 classes a week. I learned so much over the 8.5 years I worked there, and appreciate the freedoms Jayne gave me to explore different events and ideas on how to make our store wicked fun. I am also very thankful that I am still able to teach on the cape and see all my “regulars” and catch up with them over fun classes.
Ink About It: I started teaching here shortly after I started at colorful creations, and started teaching for a muse. Linda and Lori and all the girls that work there have always made me feel welcome, supported my class ideas (even agreeing on letting me teach an iphone class in 2013!) and opened their store to me. I love visiting and teaching at their store. I have a ton of supportive ladies there as well who have been taking my classes almost every month for the past 7+years!!
I am a very lucky girl! To everyone who has taken a class with me over the years, thank you for inspiring me!
Feel free to share with me what you are thankful for. If you are blogging your thankful thoughts feel free to use my banner image. Over on facebook I also have a cover photo posted that I would love for you to use as well 🙂
Thank you, Jenn, for sharing your creativity with us – and it’s always fun!
