TGIHarley- a water update

Many of you read the post here about how my dad built a water dispenser for mister harley, so he would drink while i’m away. Up until now he has only been drinking out of the bathroom sink, when i turn it on for him. i know if he was “dying” of thirst he would drink out of his water bowl, but in general he wouldn’t touch it. Well ladies and gentleman, that has all changed! Last week I was cleaning up the island a bit before my girls came for Crop on the Cape, and I decided to put my dad’s invention in the pantry so it wouldn’t take up space in my already tiny kitchen. I went to refresh the water in mister harley’s regular drinking bowl, and decided to leave it on his small counter. Before you are appalled that i let my cat on my counters, he is allowed on one tiny section of counter, that allows him to be able to get on top of the fridge… thats IT! Anyways, I put the water dish there, and sure enough he drank out of it! I thought for sure it was a fluke… but everyday since then he has been drinking out of it. He still prefers the bathroom sink, but i’m happy to know that he another option for the days that i’m not around much to be able to give him that. Here are a few pics of him enjoying his super cute water bowl i made for him almost 4 years ago… finally appreciating it 😉
