Registration for Crop on the Cape, which will be held in person March 13-16, 2025, is Monday, November 4, at 12p ET.
This is a very popular event, so I thought I would share some tips to help you register and some updated information about the event. If you plan on attending or would like to learn more about the event, I encourage you to join me LIVE on YouTube on October 29th at 12 ET. If you can’t attend LIVE, you can always catch the replay. Head on over there now to tap the bell so you will be notified when I go LIVE.
Crop on the Cape is a fun, in-person papercrafting event that over 300 people attend. There are two ways to attend:
Classic Weekend Attendance, $175
- This includes your reserved cropping/creating space from Thursday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The crop/ballroom will be open from 6a-1a.
- This gives you access to register for any of the classes being offered. Classes are an additional fee.
NEW Class Pass, $40
- This gives you access to register for any of the classes being offered. Classes are an additional fee.
With both attendance options:
- You will receive a welcome bag filled with goodies from our sponsors valued at $100+.
- There will be dessert socials on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering coffee and tea.
- This also includes giveaways throughout the weekend (everyone is a winner)!
We have a variety of vendors on-site for all your shopping needs. We host exciting games and giveaways throughout the weekend as well! You will register for your hotel room separately and you can find all of that information here.
I encourage you to read over the Crop on the Cape website to learn more about this fabulous event.
Crop on the Cape is not to be confused with the Creative Journey Art Retreat, another entirely different in-person event I host. I am hosting that event in just a few days and plan on hosting it again in November 2025.
Some updates about Crop on the Cape:
At Crop on the Cape, we offer 15 different classes that you may sign up for. You need to register for your weekend package (either Classic Weekend Attendance or Class Pass) before you can sign up for the classes, as they are only available to attendees.
See all the details about the classes here so you can plan out your schedule.
For now, be sure to check out the weekend schedule. This will help you when planning your schedule, as some classes occur at the same time. We will update the weekend schedule as we get closer to the event and have more details.
More information about registration

- If you did attend Crop on the Cape 2023-2024, you can login to your account ahead of time. If you don’t remember your password, you can request a password reset on this page.
Set up/log into your account here
Fill out as much information as possible in your account to help speed up the registration process, this also helps me assist you down the road when you have questions about classes you may have registered for, etc. Provide your full name, billing address, shipping address, etc.
At the time of registration, you will want to either go to the shop, then click “Crop on the Cape registration”
– OR –
choose “classes” from the menu (see the images below)
The classes on this page are divided into Upcoming Classes in chronological order, and then Classes On-Demand. You will want to scroll to the bottom of the Upcoming Classes section to see the Crop on the Cape registration.
Exclusive Gear
We will have a pre-order for exclusive gear up on the site during event registration. We want to be sure that you can get the size, style, color, and design in gear that YOU want. So be sure to pre-order! We will not be bringing a lot of extra gear to sell on-site. All pre-ordered gear will be available for pickup at the event, and we will not be shipping this. In order to pre-order gear you will need to complete your registration for the event first.
Currently, all Crop on the Cape Classes and gear are exclusive to those attending the event. You must be registered to be able to purchase these items.
Register for a friend!
You can register for up to eight friends in total. We actually recommend that if you are coming with friends, have ONE person register all of you. This makes it easier for us to put together the seating chart and means there will be fewer people/traffic on the website at the time of registration. At the time of registration, you will just put in your cart how many registrations you are purchasing. Once the order is complete, you will be redirected to a page with a form to fill out. We need to know the following for each person you registered:
- Friend’s First Name
- Friend’s Last Name
- Friend’s Email
You will also have space to fill out your seating requests.
Seating Requests
In the same form that you are redirected to after completing your registration, you will have a space to list who you want to sit with. As I am sure you can imagine, organizing a seating chart for 300+ people is a challenging task. If your group is larger than 4, please list as many as you can in your group, and we will do the best we can to accommodate your requests. Note: If your group is larger than 8, you will be seated at different tables. Please be sure everyone in your group lists the SAME people, with the same first and last name on their registrations.
NOTE: It is best to have one person in your group to register for all of you then, there are fewer inconsistencies or questions about your seating requests
Payment
You will be able to pay with either a credit card or PayPal. The entire registration amount is due at the time of registration.
Please keep track of which classes you paid to attend. You can always log into your account at www.shurkus.com/my-account and see your registration and the classes you signed up for.
