Happy Die-Cember, everyone! Simon Says Stamp is releasing a ton of fun products today, and I have a fun card to inspire you! Also, be sure to check out the BIG Die-Cember party that Simon Says Stamp is hosting—start on their blog here.

Holiday Stocking Gift Card Holder

Giving someone a gift card is even more fun if we can incorporate it into a card, right? This new Stocking Gift Card Holder was so fun to create with! I started by ink blending with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks using the Scattered Snow stencil and Peace Joy Hope Love stencils to create backgrounds to die cut from. I used Distress White Heavystock paper and the Make Art Stay-tion to keep the stencils in place. Using a detailed stencil like the Scattered Snow, it is easier to ink blend with a Picket Fence Pouncer. It also gives a heavier ink cover.

I then die-cut the Stocking Gift Card Holder pieces. I also cut some from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock. For the background, I used the Fluted Forest Decor Embossing Folder.

I of course added some more sparkle with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, and some Prisma glitter! I found the perfect matching gift card at Starbucks. This is such a fun way to give a gift!
