Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Color Coordinates

WOW! What a weekend!! The Loft Art Retreat was just as fun as I had hoped it would be. I promise to be back later this week with more of an update about the event! Before we get to this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge did you guys see the latest Simon Says Stamp Card Kit?

I was talking about how awesome this kit is at the Loft Art Retreat this weekend so I wanted to be sure to point it out to my readers. I love the Simon Says Stamp Card kit for a number of reasons but the main ones are I think the value is AWESOME. I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card!

This week’s challenge is featuring Shari Carroll’s Color Coordinates – Shari shares each month a color combo and inspiration using those colors on the Simon Says Stamp blog.  The design team has joined Shari and she is guesting for us this week! Today I played with Simon Says Stamp inks, papers and stamps to create a fun Halloween Card.

I have been wanting to play with the new Trick or Treat Simon Says Stamp Set. I just love when Kristina Werner designs these animal sets and I can color the kitty to look like Mister Harley. I don’t think I will be able to put a mask and cape on Mister H this Halloween though, will just have to stick to bow ties 🙂

I colored the kitty with Copic Markers. I stamped the drippy goo stamp in Green Apple Simon Says Ink. The Trick or Treat sentiment is in Slate Simon Says Stamp Ink. I am in LOVE with the Large and Small stitched rectangle sets from Lawn Fawn. I just love the finishing touch it gives cards!
