Hocus Pocus, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you a fun Halloween card I created with some of the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous release.  I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!

Hocus Pocus, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

I created this slimline card with the new Halloween Doodles stamp set. I stamped the images, colored them in with Copic markers, and fussy cut them out.

I then took the sparkle stamp from this set and stamped/embossed it with Glow in the Dark Embossing powder, all over the background on a piece of Distress White Heavystock.

I then spritzed over the background Distress Mica Sprays in Hocus Pocus and Empty Tomb. These sprays were limited edition, and they might be tricky to find. As an alternative, you could use Distress Spray Stains in Wilted Violet, or Villainous Potion and Hickory Smoke or Black Soot. Once you spray them, and heat set, then you could spray shimmer on top. I like to use Liquid Stardust from Lawn Fawn. I put a few drops into a mister with water, as it is very concentrated.

Once I am done spritzing the sprays, I take a damp cloth and wipe the excess ink off the embossed images. Once the background was done, I arranged the images along the card. I then stamped/ white embossed the sentiments and cut them into strips, and adhered them to the card.

I added some black glaze pen to the ghost’s face, and the little skull on the potion bottle.

I matted the card onto black cardstock, and then added some Distress Collage Medium to the bottom of the card, and added some mica from the limited edition Distress Halloween Sparkle Set.
