Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Sending Encourage-Mint, Lawn Fawnatics
I wanted to create a card with a different color scheme for the new How You Bean? Mint Add-On. Once I figured that part out, I just went with it!
I used Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide to stamp the mints, ink the Distress White Heavystock for the coffee cup, and for the background panel that is behind the quilted backdrop.
I stamped the jar from How you bean? and colored the lid, label, and “glass” with Copic markers. I then stamped the mints inside, again with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide.
I then ink blended some Distress White Heavystock with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide, and cut the Lovely Latte die from that. I also cut it from some Ground Coffee Cardstock, and the top from some Paper Bag Cardstock. I pieced it all together using the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.
With some of the extra ink blended Heavystock, I cut a few of the hearts that are included with the die for How You Bean? I also diecut the Quilted Backdrop out of White Cardstock, and the Woodgrain Backdrop out of Chocolate Bar cardstock.
I started to piece together my card/scene. I then stamped and white embossed “sending encourage-MINT” on some Ground Coffee cardstock, I handcut my own banner so it was the perfect size for this card.
Using foam squares I adhered the sentiment banner and 3 little hearts.
I love how this card isn’t really seasonal and can be sent to someone all year long! I hope it inspires you and you will join us in the challenge! I also hope to “see” you in a class soon!
