have a sunshiny day

Brrrrr….. it’s super cold out there, so I decided to channel my inner summer – and share with you this fun “beachy” card! Impression Obsession has fabulous beachy and nautical stamps! I just love the playfulness of this beach scene in a gumball machine. I stamped out a few of the stamp, from my friend Kimberly over a year ago (sad i know.. it took this long for me to create with them). I colored in the image with copics. I used the multiple stamped out images to color the beach balls, so I could cut them out and pop them up off the card to add dimension. I added ultrafine crystal glitter to the sand, the umbrella and the sun. I added mini pearls to the beach balls, and then glossy accents on some of the waves on the gumball machine. Edge distressing the blue layer and wrapping some bakers twine to add more details. Then of course I “word fettied” the sentiment 😉
