Happy Fall Acorn Shaker Card, Lawn Fawn
Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a bright, cheerful fall card with a big sparkly acorn shaker and the adorable Fall Mice. You’ll find all the supplies linked at the end of the post!
I started with a bold ink blend from sunny yellow through orange and pink, down into purple and blue. Then I stenciled falling leaves with the Autumn Breeze Stencil and Walnut ink. I matted the panel onto a card base covered in Armoire patterned paper for a cozy woodgrain frame. Along the bottom, I added the Leaf and Acorn Border, ink blended with Raspberry, Carrot, and Sunflower.
Next, I colored the Fall Mice and their pumpkins with Copic markers. I went with bright oranges, pinks and teal to tie in the background.
For the shaker, I built the acorn with the Outside In Stitched Acorn and Stitched Acorn Frame dies. I used Chocolate Bar and Paper Bag cardstock, plus Brown and Autumn Gold Sparkle cardstock for lots of shimmer, and filled it with Iridescent Sequin Mix. To finish, I paired “happy” from Happy Happy Happy Add-On: Family with Scripty Fall and its plaid outline.
