I am back with a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! STAMPtember® ‘Stamp-It’ and Blog Hop
Did you see all of the new goodies that Simon Says Stamp released!?! I already placed a BIG order and can’t wait to play!
We are showcasing the new STAMPtember® products that have just been released. CLICK HERE to see them all. It is a HUGE release with loads of fabulous stamps, dies, stencils and much more ! For this weeks challenge you must create a project using a rubber or clear stamp, no digi images allowed, add your creation to the linky AND hop around the designers blogs leaving comments along the way.
You should have arrived here from Heather’s blog if not then CLICK HERE to go to the start of the hop on the Simon Says Stamp Store Blog
I am OBSESSED with snowflakes and snowman. I hate winter… but for some reason I am drawn to those kinds of images. I was wicked excited when SSS sent me their new Lots of Snowflakes set to play with! (Distress Ink Colors used above: Peacock Feathers, Barn Door, Mowed Lawn)
1. I stamped a bunch of the snowflakes with versamark and embossed in white on Distress watercolor paper to fill in the whole background.
2. Then I took Distress Ink and rubbed it directly on the paper, as you can see above.
3. I then took Perfect Pearls Mist in Pearl Glimmer and generously spritzed all over the cardstock, letting the mixture pool and move around. Set aside to dry.
4. I stamped the largest snowflake with the same distress ink, and traced over it with a waterbrush to soften the lines.
I then used Lawn Fawn Scalloped Circle dies, cut the watercolor snowflakes out, and assembled the card with some ribbon and my tiny attacher.
I didn’t put a sentiment on these because I figured they could be thank yous, holiday cards or just little hellos to friends!
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge.
Just by playing along (creating anything with any theme) and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
One lucky winner will be chosen at random, it could be you!
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating! You have until Wed 9am ET to join in 🙂
Keep Hopping! From here you need to hop on over to Jennifer Ingle’s blog
Make sure to check back each Wednesday for another fun challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
Note: I will be back 2morrow with some more card designs with the new goodies that Simon Says Stamp released
