I want to welcome you to another series here on my blog! Similar to my COOLest Card Series, only this time I invited some friends! From today until February 14th not only will I have a creative love inspired project for you, but one of my wicked crafty friends will too! It is a 14 day long blog hop! I am so honored that these girls are offering up their time and creativity and sharing it with me and more importantly YOU! So, be sure to hop back to my blog each day until Valentine’s Day- Take a peek at what I have created for you and then I will also share with you another inspiring link to check out as well!
Sharing the LOVE! Since this is the season of L-O-V-E be sure to leave me a little love and my hop participants a little love as well throughout this series. (hint: we LOVE comments) Let me know in the comments how you are sharing the LOVE of this blog hop- you can share the link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. The more times you share, and the more days you share the better your odds of winning! I will be randomly picking some sharers and posting them and the prizes at the end of this series.
Now- let’s get to the good stuff!!
Valentine’s Day Cards don’t always have to be about the lovey dovey mushy stuff– You can add in a warm sentiment a little bit of pink and/or red and some hearts and you are good to go! This card here was originally supposed to have a holiday theme to it, but I never got around to making it. So i covered the vintage snowflake holiday images with some hearts and scallop circles cut out of old ledger paper. Voila! I also LOVE the look of white pigment ink stamped on kraft paper. My favorite white pigment ink pad is still the good old Colorbox Frost White.
First up for creative friends is my good friend Cheiron– I am always inspired in her cards and artsy fartsy creations! She luckily lives close enough that we get to be creative in person! Here is a peek of what she has in store for you, be sure to visit her blog and remember SHARE the love 😉 and see you tomorrow!
How delightfully vintage with the mixture of white and kraft with the ledger paper!!! I shared your card on Pinterest – https://www.pinterest.com/pin/283234264039558461/

Love the use of the ledger paper on this card–so unique and fun!
LOVE the idea that a Valentine’s day card doesn’t have to all lovey-dovey. And never thought of snowflakes on one either. Love the whole design.
I love the blend of snowflakes and hearts, I would never have thought of that. Thanks for your continued creations and amazing talent.
