Please note:
No kits are shipped for this offering. However, a detailed supply list with links is included on the class resource page, so you can shop your stash and adapt the techniques with the supplies you have on hand.
Policies
- Due to the nature of this event, there are no refunds. Once you register and pay you are given access to the private Facebook group and the retreat resource page. You are provided the website and password so there are no refunds. If you are unable to attend the event LIVE you will be able to watch the replays.
- The event resource page and event videos are exclusive to event attendees it goes without saying this should not be shared with others. When the event sells out, crafty friends can still sign up for the event resources at a discounted rate and will then have access to these resources as well. I keep events and class fees affordable, I would hope you support me in not sharing this information. Thank you!

Jenn is an effective, engaging, and thorough instructor. She clearly explains each step in the process of making incredible cards. She uses advanced techniques, yet explains them in such clear detail, and with patience, that everyone who takes her classes comes out knowing more than when the class started. Anything Jenn touches turns to gold! Her retreats (and all of her individual classes as well) are SO much fun. She has a wealth of knowledge and explains everything SO clearly. I have been crafting for over 25 years and still learn things from her in every class I take! And sometimes, she forces me out of my comfort zone and try new things – and I always enjoy the process. She can make even the most daunting techniques easy and approachable. She also provides a huge variety of techniques, coloring mediums and themes during her retreats! And it is JAM PACKED with fun and products from amazing companies.
Jenn also makes it a point to try really hard to pay attention to the chat so she can answer questions and interact with us if you are watching live. I don’t know how she is capable of doing all the things at the same time, but she does. And you can tell she genuinely loves what she does.
And if you are a visual or instructional learner, she also provides detailed guides (coloring and instructional) of the cards she has designed for the event. She truly puts so much thought, effort and energy to every step of the process and it is no easy feat to plan, coordinate, design, assist and teach these events. AND no matter when you end up making the cards (even if it’s years later) she is always available to answer questions and help if you reach out to her via email.

Robin Bernier –
Jenn is a gift to the cardmaking community and this virtual CJAR is truly an example of a gift that keeps on giving. Jenn always packs a lot of techniques into the CJARs but this one was overflowing with techniques. This Art Retreat has a lot of watercoloring but don’t let that scare you. Jenn makes watercoloring easy. She spends a lot of time walking you through it step by step. I used to cringe at the thought of watercoloring but with Jenn as my teacher, I say “bring it on.”
As always, the kit was fantastic but CJAR goes well beyond the kit. It is less about what we use and more about what we can create. The Pinkfresh stencils are a perfect example. The technique landed us with amazing results but you could use most any stencil set and get a similar stunning ombre result.
I have enjoyed all of Jenn’s virtual CJARs so it is hard to say but this one has been my favorite so far. If you are looking to expand your crafty knowledge, practice techniques or just hang out with crafty friends, this CJAR will not disappoint.
