Happy Hour is an opportunity to create three unique cards from start to finish! We will be creating cards featuring Lawn Fawn’s Build-a-Drink series of dies. Jenn will have dedicated time to go over unique ways to step-up your die-cuts. Believe it or not, we won’t be coloring, and there won’t be a critter in sight- but we can assure the cards will still have the whimsical Lawn Fawn feel to them. As always, tips and tricks will be shared throughout the class. Jenn will also share the designs of 2 bonus cards, using the supplies we used in class. Tons of inspiration for you to use with your crafty supplies! (Please note this is the same class that Jenn taught at Crop on the Cape in March 2026 and those who attended will have online access)
Class will be LIVE on June 19th. However, if you can’t make it LIVE, you can watch the class videos anytime it works into your schedule.
- session one 10a-1p: die embellishing, assembly, and other techniques
- session two 2p-4p: card assembly, tips tricks, and processes
Also included in the class:
- downloadable supply list

Once you have purchased this online class, you are able to access the class resource page by logging into your account www.shurkus.com/my-account , choosing “classes & events” and then choosing this class. On the class resource page, you will find the downloadable class supply list and class prep handout. This will include the details of what to have stamped, die-cut, and pre-cut ahead of time before you watch the class videos. You will also find the details about the class videos which are hosted on private YouTube links. As the class gets closer the class handout will be posted here as well.
All of the videos will be available to watch via a private YouTube link, you DO NOT need to have a Facebook account to be part of this class. I will contact class attendees with any important class updates or changes via email, so no one will miss anything. I encourage you to join my {creative chick} studio share Facebook group, which is a public group and open to any papercrafters. You can still share posts in the group as you are preparing for class, what your crafty space looks like all setup and your cards after class. If you have questions specifically about the class you can still ask them in this group, and tag me in the post by typing @jennshurkus to tag me. OR you can send me an email at [email protected]
With the supplies you have gathered ahead of time, you will be able to watch the videos and create right along with me as I teach. You will be able to comment, ask questions, and interact with other students. You can also share your projects in the Facebook group or on social media using the hashtag #CreativeChickClasses. If you happen to miss the live broadcast, or if you want to rewatch it, it will be permanently saved on YouTube. You can also ask me questions in the Facebook group, but you can also email me questions if you are not in the group.
