What is the Wicked Little Countdown?
Think advent calendar… but make it Halloween. 🎃
The Wicked Little Countdown is a two-day virtual crafting event where you’ll create a 13-day Halloween advent calendar featuring a fun mix of whimsical Lawn Fawn and mixed media techniques. It is equal parts spooky, creative, and just plain fun.
Lessons will take place over two days of tutorial videos, and are hosted on unlisted YouTube videos, no Facebook account required! You can join the replay at your own pace.

Quick Event Details:
$165 price includes:
- A beautifully created kit with all the hand-stamped and die-cut Lawn Fawn images you’ll need. Kits are shipping now.
- Hours of instruction and creative class time across two days
- A downloadable event handout with close-up images of the finished project, supply lists, and all the details you need
- Copic coloring guides for all the images we’ll be coloring, plus a Copic/OLO comparison chart (you can use any coloring medium you love!)
- And knowing these two… there will be a few surprises along the way 👀🖤 (It’s the East Coast Fawnies, they always have something up their sleeves!)
Supplies Needed
You will need a few basic supplies from home such as adhesives, ink pads, some fun mixed media supplies, and other standard papercrafting tools. A full supply list will be provided as we get closer to the event- but with plenty of time to organize.

Jenn Shurkus has been teaching papercrafting classes for 15+ years and hosting art retreats for over a decade. She puts her whole heart into every event she creates, and this one is no exception.
Chari Moss, you may know her from the incredible videos she creates for the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel! Chari is Jenn’s East Coast Fawnie Bestie and co-host extraordinaire. Together, these two are ready to make your Halloween season extra creative and extra wicked fun. 🖤

I’ve recently started learning about mixed media by taking some of Jenn’s classes this year. As a big fan of Lawn Fawn, Jenn and Chari, I knew I couldn’t miss this event. I learned so much and am absolutely thrilled with how my tags turned out. I still can’t believe I made them, but Jenn and Chari made the process easy to follow along, even with the variety of techniques we tried. It was like hanging out with girlfriends all weekend! Wow! What a great class! Jenn and Chari’s teaching methods make the accomplishing of this project so achievable. Their voices are so easy to listen to and follow. The mixed media products we used can seem intimidating but Jenn makes you feel confident enough to actually get in there and get crafting! The Halloween Countdown Tags are so cute and each one tells a little story! I’m so glad I signed up for the class before I even knew what the project would look like. That’s how confident I was/am that these two crafters would create such an amazing project! Grab one if there are any left!

This class was so fun! Some of the supplies Jenn and Chari used in this class I had never used before. They showed detailed demonstration of techniques that were new, some I had done before, and everyone had a great time.I was Jennabled to add a couple of new supplies for this class, but everything was worth the money spent in all because I’m inspired to create more with the leftover supplies and new things I’ve learned. The tag garland is so cute and different than anything I have for Halloween, I’m glad I took this class and recommended you do too.

I signed up for this not quite knowing what to expect- it is a great class – distress ink & distress oxide , distress paint , distress pencils and COPIC coloring! – it was so cool working with the different medias – Jenn and Chari made it very approachable and most of all fun! I always enjoy Jenn and Chari classes and signed up as soon as registration went live. I had no idea what we were going to make but I knew with those 2 creating, I would love it. Boy did they deliver!! This was the most fun I have had creating something this year!! The countdown garland is a blend of Lawn Fawn, mixed media and tons of techniques. Before we even finished session 1 on Saturday, I was already deciding who I wanted to make some of these for.
