*Virtual* Creative Journey Art Retreat: Supply List

The following supplies are what Jenn used to create the 12 cards. You do not need to have it all. If it is starred * it most definitely can be optional. Listed are specific colors of ink and Copics, but you can always make substitutions for what you have. If you don’t have a local store to support, I have linked supplies at the bottom to a few suppliers.

Card bases

• (7) 4.25” x 11”
• (4) 5.5” x 8.5”

Ink for stamping images you are going to color (black)

• Lawn Fawn, Jet Black

Inks for stamping sentiments (black, pink, red, teal) Full-size ink pad or ink cubes would work

• Lawn Fawn, Lobster
• Lawn Fawn, Bubblegum
• Lawn Fawn, Mermaid
• Lawn Fawn, Black Licorice or
• Versafine, Onyx Black

Inks for ink blending (dark green, light green, pink) Full-size ink pad or ink cubes would work

• Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn
• Distress Ink, Twisted Citron
• Distress Ink, Picked Raspberry * or use the pink ink you have for stamping ink
• Distress Ink, Pine Needles
• Distress Ink, Vintage Photo

Waterbased inks for watercoloring
This can be substituted with actual watercolors, or watercolor pencils, however, I will be teaching with regular Distress Inks. You can substitute for similar Distress Inks. If I am using Walnut Stain and you only have Frayed Burlap- that is ok. I just recommend you have 3 different brown Distress Inks. Full-size ink pad or ink cubes would work

Tools

• Scissors
• Bone Folder

• Blender Brushes (or Ink Blending Tool or Distress Blending Brushes)
• Paintbrush, #3 round
• Acrylic Block or Stamping Platform (i.e. Misti)
• Heat Tool or Embossing Gun
• Stamp Shammy *
• Ranger Craft Sheet, or 1/2 sheet of white cardstock laminated. Something to use for a palette

Copic Markers
I will be teaching Copic coloring. You can color with another medium if you choose. You can also make substitutions for the Copics you own. If I am using R29, and you own R24- that is OK! Most of the Copics we will be using are from the top 50 markers I recommend in my Copic 101 tutorial.
