How this will work:

Once you have purchased this online class, you will want to join the private Facebook group and access the class resource page. Please note it may take time to be approved into the Facebook group as this is a manual process that is done by Jenn.

To find the class Facebook page and class resource page:

  • goto https://shurkus.com/my-account
  • log in to your account
  • then under “my orders” find the order for the particular class, click that
  • down towards the bottom, you will see “NEXT STEP”
  • There is a link to the class Facebook group, and under that, you will find the link/password to the class resource page
  • This is a different password than you used to log into your account.

When requesting to join the private Facebook group, please be sure to answer the 3 questions, this will help me verify that you are signed up.

On the class resource page, you will find the downloadable class supply list and class prep handout. This will include the details of what to have stamped, die-cut, and pre-cut ahead of time before you watch the class videos.

With the supplies you have gathered ahead of time you will be able to watch the videos and to create right along with Jenn as she teaches. You will be able to comment, ask questions, and interact with other students. You can also share your projects in the group. If you happen to miss the live broadcast, or if you want to rewatch it, it will be permanently saved in the group video section. You will still be able to ask questions in the group or reach out to Jenn.

All important announcements and the replays of the videos will be kept in the “Announcements” section of the Facebook group, so they will be easy to find.

FAQ

Q: What if I want to take the class with a friend, should we both register?
A: As many of us are starting to get together with friends again, to hang out and hopefully create together. I wanted to remind you that the policy for my online classes is that everyone who is taking the class should register for the class. It is not fair for a group of friends to get together under one registration. The class fee is very affordable and a lot of hours go into designing and hosting the classes, I hope you will understand and support me.

Q: How long will you have access to the class
A: Indefinitely (as long as Facebook is around)

Q: I don’t have Facebook. How can I join the class?
A: Because we are using Facebook’s platform to host the class, you must have a Facebook account to join.

Q: I don’t have all the supplies listed.
A: You can always substitute for similar items, or leave something out. Email Jenn if you have questions

Q: Your class is at 11 am Eastern time, but I live in England. What time will your class air?
A: Go to World Clock and personalize the clocks at the top with New York time and your local time.

Q: I took one online live class. Will your next class go to the same group?
A: No, each class will have its own unique Facebook group. You must sign up for each class separately.

Q: Where do I find the video?
A: On the day of class, pull the group up on your phone, tablet, or computer. When class starts, you will see a post that Jenn is going Live in the group. Click on that to watch. After class is over, you can watch the video by clicking on the “Video” section of the group.

Q: What payment options do you offer?
A: All major credit cards Venmo and PayPal

Q: Can I have a refund for the class
A: Unfortunately, since you have already gained access to the class resource page, and were provided the website and password there are no refunds.

Q: I have technical problems!
A: Email Jenn and she will do her best to help. However, if she is in the middle of the LIVE she obviously will not be able to get back to you until after. Note that the classes will work well on your computer with a high-speed internet connection. They are not guaranteed to work on tablets, but we have tested them on our iPad and they worked well.

Q: In what language are the classes?
A: The classes are in English. There is no written transcript of the videos. However, people from all over the world have been taking Jenn’s online classes.

Q: When will the class handout be available?
A: All handouts are posted on the password-protected class resource page.

  • The downloadable supply list and class prep handout is available when registration opens for the class
  • The class handout with full images of the cards, coloring guides etc is available a few days before the LIVE class is hosted.

13 reviews for Berry Fun – Online Class

This was a berry fun class indeed! Even though I have been paper crafting over 20 years I’m still amazed how adorable the cards are when they are done! Jenn has adorable color combos, and her copic color palettes she recommends include most of the same colors from one class to the next allowing you to build your marker stash as you go!

  2. Brandi Baca (verified owner)

Hello everyone this was my first online class with Jenn and let me tell you it was Awesome!! I highly recommend you try one, these classes are so much fun.

  3. April Davis (verified owner)

Awesome class. Jenn is very good at pacing during the coloring and assembly of more complex cards like the pop-up. She has a great team that helps answer questions in real time and Jenn strives to interact with class participants throughout the class.

  4. Charlotte Coombes (verified owner)

Out of the 7 classes I have now taken from Jenn, THIS class is when it dawned on me WHY I keep coming back for more. Besides being just plain fun with amazing Lawn Fawn Images, Jenn is SO PATIENT with each of us, and it doesn’t matter how many questions are asked, she never rushes you, never misses a beat with multitasking between answering questions and teaching. This class has a pop up platform in it that for some reason just challenged my brain and a few other classmates as well, but Jenn patiently showed the steps in close up view, as well as pulling her own sample apart to show again how it works. WOW! She is so warm and engaging during class, that she has built up a group of dedicated attendees who engage, and help each other out through the comments section, so you never feel like you are “crafting alone at home”. I’m so glad I found her classes, and I’m betting your first one will hook YOU, too!

  5. Lynn Kopas (verified owner)

Awesome class. Learned some new tips especially with copic coloring. Jenn is very patient and the handouts area super helpful. The class was fun and the pace was perfect plus the replay is always available. Looking forward to more wicked fun classes!!!! Highly recommend Jenn’s classes.

  6. Barbara Martin (verified owner)

This class was wicked fun! Jenn makes every class fun! The cards we made were gorgeous and Jenn’s teaching style makes everyone feel competent. She explains things so clearly. I have improved my Copic coloring skills so much!

  7. Meigan E (verified owner)

This is a great class! Jenn always makes amazing handouts to help you color the cards and how to put them together. Also nice to see how she put the platform pop up together!!!

  8. Lindsy (verified owner)

Jenn’s online card classes are top notch. The Berry Fun card designs are so cute, the class handouts are spectacular, and I appreciate how thorough Jenn is when explaining each step of the process. I find her colouring methods easy to follow along with and SO helpful. When putting together an interactive card (like the platform pop-up in this class) she is detail-oriented, kind, and patient. It feels like she is in the room with you! Although she is a splendid ‘Jenn-abler’, you never feel pressure to have everything she uses — it’s always easy to substitute if needed. Finally, I loved how this class had us use a bit more of the Lawn Fawn patterned papers as I’ve not had a lot of opportunities to use them. I’ve been taking classes with Jenn for a year, and they’ll be many more years to come…they are wicked fun!!

  9. Natalie (verified owner)

More and more creative every class. I learn something new each and every class I take with Jenn. I refer back to colour guides constantly for all my crafty endeavours!

  10. Rosalie (verified owner)

Fantastic class! The cards are all adorable and Jenn’s instruction is patient and very helpful! I’ll definitely be digging up for more of her classes!

  12. BreAnn L. (verified owner)

This class was so fun. I love all of the projects that were designed for this class. I typically struggle with scene cards but Jenn is a fantastic teacher and her instructions are easy to follow

Another day where I got to “glitter all the things” in a Creative Chick class. Today was an interesting class because I learned how to make a new interactive die. But I also learn so much from Jenn’s class that had nothing to do with crafty goodness. Today was the the three “P’s”. PATIENCE . . . as she slows things down, takes the time to read her comments, and deal with all of us who might be commenting with issues or need help. And PATIENCE AND PAUSE to slow us all down and get us in the same spot to have success across the masses for all. No question that if one person has a question, others do as well and she is right there with all of us to troubleshoot. And then PATIENCE, PAUSE, AND PIVOT (and I’m sure on her part a bit of PANIC) when something on the tech side ended class and she had to get us all back on track. Loved all the crafty and all the P’s I learned from Jenn today. Love the way she breaks down her classes. Highly recommend!
