Note: Don’t miss my feature on Lawn Fawn’s site!
Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fabulous Florals challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Just Go Wild! You could use a wild animal image on your creation, or you could go wild with wildflowers or with colors! Just Go Wild and have fun, we will be looking forward to seeing your Wild Side!
We are featuring WPlus9 Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!
Before I tell you about my card this week- did you see we are hosting a Kid’s Challenge?! Be sure to check it out!
Still rocking some cards to share handmade kindness like I was sharing here. I didn’t have any animal stamps in my stash so I took the meaning of wild, as in flowers 🙂
Hello Dear Friend | WPlus9
I stamped the Beautiful Bouquet Dahlia with Versafine and then quickly embossed it with clear detail embossing powder. I then watercolored it with Distress CRAYONS. I know.. it’s a shock that I didn’t use just the ink pads 😉 Watch this quick video to see a behind the scenes process.
I basically put down a light foundation of the color, blended a bit then took the crayon directly to the paper to really make the colors pop. I just LOVE how this came out, and I liked the process and how I couldn’t be as exact with coloring. I white embossed the sentiment on black card stock and splattered some Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain on Kraft Cardstock.
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Just Go Wild is the theme so have fun! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!
